|' Working together to bring the community closer '
By the grace of the Almighty Allah, we are delighted to welcome you to the Jalalia Jamme Masjeed Enfield
website. We hope that the information we provide across our web pages are informative and useful to you.
Jalalia Jamme
Masjeed is situated in the heart of Enfield and was established in 1981 when the community
purchased 228, High Street from Enfield Council. This has been the Masjeed site ever since. Back eighteen years ago, the community chose
the name of the mosque to be Jalalia Jamme Masjeed, Enfield. Our Masjid is a charity organisation which is funded through our community members contributions and currently accommodates
to 1,500 + worshippers. Our aim is to encourage
both Muslim and non-Muslims to acquire religious information from our Masjeed.
Our aim is to create a harmonious environment and promote the enhancement of human values, spiritual attainment and faith in god almighty,
by providing the local community with focus point for a range of spiritual, cultural, educational and other training activates. This will enable the community to unite, develop greater self–confidence through a sense of belonging
in order to affirm its cultural identities and renew its zest of self reliance. To create unity through religious teachings, improve and enhance skills, knowledge and capacity of the community through integration, tolerance
and diversity. To promote and engage in interfaith dialogues with other religious groups, by reaching out and acting as a resource centre for the local community, voluntary and statutory agencies and
the wider community as as whole.
We
hope that this website provides you with the information which you require. We look forward to seeing you at our mosque. If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to email us at [email protected] and
we will get back to you.
Alhamdulillah we have many people who work for the Mosque in ensuring that we bring an amazing community
together.
